The Prattville-Autauga Character Coalition is proud to host our annual Champions of Character event. The 2024 event will be honoring our Champion of Character, Sean of the South. Mark your calendars for Tuesday, August 13 from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Central Alabama Community College in Prattville.
The Prattville-Autauga Character Coalition, a non-profit organization established in 2007 with the purpose of strengthening our community by fostering character development and education among our citizens, established the Champion of Character Award in 2015 to honor leaders that have displayed exemplary character and encouraged living and leading with good character in daily life. Sean Dietrich is a columnist, novelist, and stand-up storyteller known for his commentary on life in the American South. His work has appeared in Newsweek, Southern Living, Reader's Digest, Garden and Gun, The Tallahassee Democrat, the Birmingham News, The Mobile Press Register, and his column appears in newspapers throughout the U.S. He has authored fifteen books; he is the creator of the Sean of the South Podcast and makes appearances on the Grand Ole Opry.
The event will feature a silent auction, dinner and live music from Gypsy Cornbread. You do not want to miss out!
